Calgary Inter-Mennonite Church

Our History

Calgary Inter-Mennonite Church (CIM) was founded in 1976 as South Calgary Mennonite Brethren Church with membership in the Canadian Mennonite Brethren Conference.  In 1990, we extended our conference membership to include Mennonite Church Alberta and the Northwest Mennonite Conference of Alberta conferences. Later on, in 1996, CIM joined the Mennonite Church Canada.

At present, CIM is registered as an independent Mennonite church (Society) in the Province of Alberta. We enjoy participation with other Mennonite Churches, many Mennonite agencies and institutions, the broader church community, as well as several ecumenical charitable organizations.
